I've spent most of my past years in libraries, coffee shops, and the academic institution to become a geographer. I obtained a Bachelor's of Art in Anthropology and a Master's of Science in Geography, focusing on how class and race is affected by the social, environmental, and economic geography for which we live in. I decided to obtain my real estate license when I found that becoming a realtor was another way to become a geographer, with the additional benefit to be able to help community members directly.
I want to be able to show up for my community, help, support, encourage, and give a helping hand in what can feel like the unfamiliar terrain of real estate. Since I started working for French Quarter Realty in June of 2019, I've mainly focused on rental listings, leasing, property management, buying and selling.
Outside of the real estate world, I focus a lot of energy into the local food systems and gardening. I run a garden in the 7th ward called The Enchanted Yam Garden and work with Food Rescue US New Orleans in feeding the food insecure. I find it extremely important to give back to the community in which you live - we've got to take care of each other in order to keep this city so vibrant and beautiful.
